Is Purse within a Purse a New Trend?
A few days ago, I came across a tote bag with a purse screen printed on it. I didn’t think much of it until I came across a similar bag on another site today, which got me thinking: is this a new trend?
The first tote bag is from Cutiemus. The $18 bag features a screen printed vintage purse on the side.
The other tote I discovered is from ModCloth (one of my favorite sites, in case you’re wondering). This tote features a screen print of luggage on it and sells for $39.99.
Do you think this will catch on with other items of clothing? I suppose it is on par with the infamous “tuxedo t-shirt” if you want to compare it to something else.
I definitely think it’s an interesting concept and either bag would make a great conversation starter. I personally prefer the vintage print tote from Cutiemus over the ModCloth one.
How about you? Would you buy either of these totes?
