How many weddings are you going to this year?
I’ve got three so far, and I think it’s possible, come Valentine’s Day, there could be two more. I couldn’t be happier for my friends, but now I’m starting to think about what to wear and if I can get away with repeating anything (yes, even their happiness is all about me). I don’t know why this is, exactly, but for me, everything hinges on the handbag.
So first step is heading over to Davie & Chiyo (whose motto, ‘The Quest for the Perfect Clutch,’ just sings to me) and taking in the half-off sale on their adorable clutches. This means I can pick up the bag for the February and March evening weddings and have enough left over to splurge on a new pair of black slingbacks (maybe). I’m leaning toward the Baguette Clutch in Navy (12″ x 6″ x $44!), but I find the Robin Egg Flower bag or the Vintage Linen clutch equally lovely, and perfect for daytime events.
