Purse On Us

I just got my shipment of metal purse frames this morning! I barely opened them up, and got to making a purse pattern. I wanted it to be quite big, so that phones, wallets, keys and whatnot FIT IN the bag. I got the idea from a vintage picture I had bookmarked a long time ago.

So, I took some fabric I got from TroisMiettes. It's a cotton tree print with birds all around it.I took the purse frame and did an outline of it on paper. Added seam allowance of one centimeter.
It will probably have a silk purple lining. I'm not sure yet.
