Almost finished with a new tote
I’ve got a new tote bag I’m finishing to post on Etsy tomorrow night. I managed to get everything done except the edging of it. The design is one of my own. Since I started making purses about a year ago, it seems like I’m fascinated with the different ways to put them together.
This one is made of wool & acrylic blend yarn. The yarn is Yarn Bee Melody in Ocean (it seems that everyone loves this name, but the colors vary dramatically). It reminds me of a beach-style bag, except it won’t be as tall as a typical beach bag. I envision it more as a small book bag or something to take to a quick trip to a friend’s overnight. The colors are vibrant & sure to be a hit with teens & pre-teens.
