well i love all fashion/clothing related things.

but in particular handbags. older handbags.

i have a collection of vintage glomesh clutches.

but coming from a small town i found you don’t have to pay a lot of money to buy something truly amazing. i grew up venturing to op-shops with my mum.

so i think that’s where the love comes from.

not long ago i found this cute little bag.

so as a little exercise, how much do you think i paid for this?

i’ll give you a hint. it was a whole dollar amount and less than $20.

From the moment I bought this navy-and-white striped Eight Sixty top (seen here) and cork peep-toes by Nine West (seen here , here & here), I knew they would become my summer staples. A potluck dinner at our friends’ home was the perfect time to wear them. Again.

This time it was my turn to borrow from my sister. Luckily, she was more than willing to lend me this skirt by American Rag. Ring and bracelet taken borrowed from my mom. Necklace by J.Crew (seen here & here).Handbag by Brahmin.

I really enjoyed wearing this. It was fun, comfortable and felt very “me,” and those are the makings of the perfect outfit!

Rachel McAdams was spotted in NYC the other day with the fabulous new Miu Miu quilted front-lock satchel in a light blue shade. The satchel features a chevron-quilted leather with a woven top handle – an overall great texture. Although I’m not usually a fan of the belted flap styles, I think it contributes to the great structure. The use of silver hardware also helps avoid a more traditional look, differentiating it from the likes of the Alexa bag. Plus, it looks great with the off-white colour!

Though I wasn’t particularly partial to the Miu Miu fall accessories, I love this new satchel and I think it might even compare to the Vitello Lux – albeit a bit pricier!  It seems to be coming a celebrity favourite though, Cheryl Cole was spotted carrying the bag in Cannes earlier this year.

The quilted front-lock satchel isn’t available just yet but you can pre-order it on the Bergdorf Goodman online store for $1990
